Chopard, founded in 1860, is one of Switzerland's most renowned watch manufacturers.
In 1988, the company partnered with the Mille Miglia [thousand mile] as sponsor of the prestigious event, for witch they have produced stunning limited edition watches in small numbers for participants and guest of the event, based on the famous Brescia-Rome-Brescia race.
This watch was the first one, given in 1988 to participants and guests.
It's the large size Men's version with a 37 mm. diameter [excluding crown].
Stainless steel with 18k gold bezel, crown and pusher.
The Mille Miglia logo is engraved on the bezel and filled with red pigment, as are the seconds indicators around the perimeter.
White dial with applied gold hour markers, date aperture at 3 o'clock position, luminous blued steel hands, and 30 minute chrono counter at 6 o'clock position.
Sapphire crystal, screw-down crown and Mille Miglia curved "arrows" in red on face and minute subdial.
Water resistant to 30 meters
This watch is totally orginal & complete with all boxes and papers.

The Chopard Mille Miglia timepiece of the year 2000 runs on a automatic movement.
It has 37 jewels and a 40 hours of power reserve with COSC-certification for chronometer.
It uses titanium case, its diameter is 40mm. and has a thickness of 13mm.
Its sapphire crystal is curved and treated with anti-reflective on both sides.
The caseback has sapphire crystal showing the movement within.
Water resistance is up to 50 m.
It has the famous rubber bracelet inspired by"Dunlop" tyres from the Sixties.

Lalique Mascot Watch.
This is a motoring related wrist watch.
Lalique have produced a couple of automobile themed watches, highly desirable to collectors, this is one of them the "Mascot" watch.
The design is heavily influenced by early 20 th century motor cars for which Rene Lalique famously created car hood ornaments.
This watch has its roods in the motorcars, there is a date window that looks like an adometer, the copper dial that looks like a speedmeter.
The hubcaps and the spokes of the wheel are part of the design.
The mane "Mascot" is on the outer rim of the dial and a picture of the falcon car mascot on the reserve.
With a brown leather strap and Lalique engraved buckle.
